We are trying to identify the proper springs for replacement in Certainteed tilt windows circa 2000. The sash weight is approximately 20 lbs and the original springs have the number 10 stamped on them. Please get back to us with any information you have. Thank you,Jim

The lower "clip" is broken and 1 guide pin is broken on a sears window. Can you see if you can help me out? Thanks, patrick The guid clip pictured is not broken but bent. And the window is impact resistant.

I have Simonton Double Hung windows. A few of the nylon balance shoes have broken in half at the bottom of the shoe where it cradles the metallic pivot. Can the shoes be replaced by themselves, or is it necessary to replace the entire balance/spring/shoe assembly?
