This is the failed part on our Atrium window which is stamped "27C". It is from the lower window which tilts out. Window was installed in 2005 by builder and I am the original owner. I'm looking for replacement shoes for windows in several of my buildings. I can find some that will fit the channel if the window but cannot find one that will hook onto the channel balance itself. Thanks

How and where do you measure to determine what size shoe to purchase?

I don't know if I need the end part or the entire unit. It is a Gulf and Basco window.

The builder of our house can't find the original records, but believes that our windows were manufactured by Alenco (TX) or Silverline (NJ). We need a bunch of balance clips and a handful of sash tilt mechanisms. Can you identify by the attached photos?

Does the top of this balance have a clip that hooks into hole on top of window? Or does it take a screw on top to hold balance in place? I am looking for one with a clip. Please let me know. I need to replace my pivot locking shoes and latches for 2 tilt out windows. Both of the pivot shoes and latches are broken. Balance has 28B BSI stamped in it.

Window tilt at end of balance arm has 33b bsi on the spring assembly

Hello !! I am trying to replace a D467490 Window spring shoe. I bought 4 15-195 models and they didnt quite work. As you can see in the picture, the D467490 on left has a top hook that is narrower the the 15-195 on the right. That is keeping the 15-195 from sliding onto the spring holder clip. ... (cont.)
