I have trouble finding this pivot bar and do i need to change the coils cause the slider in the open position is hard to go up and down.

I recently ordered a pivot shoe and pivot bar. The shoe works perfect, in fact I need another for a different window, but the pivot bar didn't work. Picture on floor is of the good bar; one on window is the new one that doesn't work. The holes just don't align to a good spot for how long it needs to ... (cont.)

I'm working with a college housing maintenance department. They need the bottom pivot bars. They refer to them as the gold bar. I'm trying to find replacement pivot bars (4) for a Great Lakes Seabrooke double hung windows and I'm having a hard time finding the correct size. Hoping you can help me. Thank youDennis

Pivot bar number on it is 9749 with a 2 near the end. size is as follow Lenghts is 3 1/16 end to end and 1/4 inch wide and 3/16 thick one hole treaded 1 1/16 from pointed tip to center of hole.

I had several double hung windows professionally installed. Three of these windows (1 bathroom, 1 bedroom and 1 living room window that tilt for cleaning)slam down and refuse to remain open. Sadly this is all I have to go on. Both pivot bars are broken. Shown is the first screw hole. The second screw hole is 3/4 in from the first. Fingers crossed!!

Looking to replace the Pivot lock shoes on all our windows. Each time I have tilted a window to clean it, the metal insert in the shoe breaks. Trying to get replacement tilt sash pivot bar for a very old (30 years approx) window aluminum double hung that has no identifying information. Pivot shoe broke and needs to be replaced. I cannot find a brand name anywhere, glass or frame. Bought home new but 17 years ago. Probably came from Home Depot or Lowes. That's all the help I can offer. Thanks.
