Recently, a clip attached to my window broke (the spring and the extension part that slides into the frame) and allowed the upper portion of my window to actually come out of the frame. Wheel assembly or wheels and latch I measure the wheels and they are 2 inches by 5/8". This house was built in 1997. I saw the exact window latches from these windows on your site.

I am needing replacement Tilts for 13 windows and wanted to make sure I ordered the correct part. The home was built in 1994 so I wasn't sure if these were still available. I believe I have narrowed it down to 26-157 & 26-158.

This appears to be a common problem with the old Pacific Industries window latches - they break easily. I have a houseful of vinyl single hung windows and, before Pacific went out of business, I had purchased a number of spares that have now all been used, so I am searching for an alternative solut ... It's for a tilt window in the front window.. the little plastic knobs on break Off and we are looking for replacements. In the middle of the window sill there is a rod that the latch holds in place
