40-191 Storm Door Multi-point Mortise Lock, Pella

Not sure if the part I ordered is correct

I was unable to open my storm door, the handle came down, but the door won't open. It is as the lock is stuck. My handyman asked me to purchase the lock. I checked the dimension, looks like I need the 40-191 mortise lock. Do I need to get the strike plate too?

Can A Pella Storm Door Handle & 2pt Mortise Set, Be Changed Out With A Universal Set?

I ordered a Lock and Handle set from another supplier for a Pella storm door. It did not come with a Lock Body. The number of the handle hardware kit is 33251. What lock body do I need to order?

the two bolts remain in fixed locked position and i cant figure out how to bring them back into the handle set. i do NOT have a key for the lock. the inside small handle to turn the bolts just spins around without engaging the bolts

I have read a few of the other posts on this topic, so I know I can drill a hole in yours to accommodate my 6 inch spread. But I am wondering what the distance between the latch holes is. I think I need 1 1/4 inch. Thanks Gary

I have a pella mortise lock mechanism and need to rehand the latch. I cannot find a video anywhere. I see what may be it, but not sure. It is the 40-191 Mortise Lock. Any help would be appreciated.

Your dimension cross section shows the attaching screw holes to be 7 1/4 inch apart. I measure 7 5/16. I realize either of us can be off 1/4 inch, but am questioning it to get the right part.

Hello, I have a broken lock for my Pella storm door. I have taken 4 pictures of the lock I would like to replace. Additionally, Pic1 shows the numbers we took off the inside of the storm door.

Recently ordered the 82-400 and it was incorrect. it does not fit my Pella Door. The mechanism was 7" long. I need one thats 5.5" long can you help me!

I received a replacement mortise today. It appeared to be the correct part. The deadbolt was not operating at first, but then it was stuck in the door in the extended position. Trying to find this screen door lock...help.

Were there any other versions of this lock back in 2010 when this door was purchased. I don't remember exactly how it looks and don't have the dimensions but it has the two point lock and a lower key as shown, I just don't remember if it had two square handle mechanisms and lock holes for universal ... Will I need a new door

I need a replacement for the door lock of my storm door on my front door. I tried going to home depot but it seems this is not a standard door lock.

This mortise latch no longer works on pella storm door. It gets stuck and had to pry it open. Need replacement for it. The numbers on this one are 06 01 31. Please let me know if you have a replacement.
