for a MI 8500 single sash window ... is there a standard size for the pile weather strip ? your dimensions have such small increments on your pile strips, i would be afraid to miss-measure i saw in a previous posting answer that most MI windows have a common bottom seal 58-182 T-Slot foam filled ... The attached image is for the Rubber sealing Strip at the bottom of my Slide windows. I have measured the T-Slot height (0.187"/3/16") and Bulb diameters appears to be 0.300"/1/4" - ??)I am in need of 50+ feet to redo these window seals around my house.

Pile weather seal is 3/16" and 3/16". Is 58-021 Right product? Bubble seal is 6/16" and 6/16". 3/16" is the slide width. Is 58-182 right product? Regards Raj

There is no number on the vinyl strip there is MDL 1010 on a label on one of the Alliance double hung windows. I hope that this email is bundled with the original email.

Need to replace single hung spiral balance shoe. One shoe is cracked and does not move with window.

Looks more like the.187 style or the .270 T- Slot foam filled, can you confirm? T measures approximately 3/16 of an inch, thank you! Chip

This is a 20 year old Alliance Window. Not sure if I need 58-171 or 58-182

This slips in the bottom of the sash on a single hung tilt window.

I have 5 (five) 40" double hung (double tilt in) windows. We installed them new in late 90's, we think. The bottom sash on one window has a bubble seal on it. I am looking to replace weatherstripping for old certainteed windows. I tried 58-164 and 58-171. The T-Slot is 3/16". I am having trouble with the bubble/foam part being too large and the windows will not close properly. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks!
