PGT window that only goes up and down.

It is marked "25 3 BT Caldwell". The metal length is 26" and it is 1/2" wide. The window is a "PGT model SH 4000" and is about 15 yrs old. Window opening size is 52" wide x 55" tall. I think I need a S395-26 and a 18-009 guide? I've tried to send with pictures, but I get error message. ... (cont.)

One of the pieces broke and the balance just slides by the window. I cannot find a place that sells replacements. The one in the picture is pretty beat up too. There is one on each side of the window.

Hi, We have 14 PGT single hung windows that all have some problem. Some with broken top sashes and run-away balances and some with stuck balances. The 18-015 sash guide looks exactly like what I need. The ones I need are 5/8" I ordered 2. The ones I got are 13/16" Anyway - What I need is the 18-015 in 5/8". I have a PGT double hung non-tilt window. I think it's a 1/2" channel balance, but I can't get the sash out. I've watched the video, I pop the take-out clips out, and I raise the sash as high as it will go. But I can't pop it out of its channel. It's a big window. The sash is about 50" wide by 31 ... Hi. Hope you can help. These are PGT windows. I have three pictures of the balance guide and also of the top guide. Not sure if there is a left and right ? The top guide may be broken or just worn ? I appreciate your help or comments. Thank you , Sue
