I have two Caldwell channel balances that I need to replace. They are 30 inches long and have 29 3 EQ CALDWELL stamped on them. Hi- I need to replace two single hung window balancers. My windows have no markings but the balancer has the number 2830 on it- its in the pic called "IMG_3336". I suspect they are acorn or some other brand that is no longer in business. Help! Thanks!

I took these photos from a working identical window. The window with the broken balance never worked correctly, and it turns out it had different balances. I believe the springs were too strong. Spec's: Fisher Window (at least that's what is stamped on the locks) 1/2" by 28" balance 27 4 CV ... (cont.)

I know I have the right balancer length and width (21" long and 9/16 wide), one set is stamped 2020 and the other 2040 (2 types of windows). I am only dealing with the channel balance on our largest windows. The metal portion is 1/2" plus a bit (9/16?) wide and 28" long. The number on the side reads 2740 Your Q/A on Alenco seems to I.D. replacements for these very units. But your expert eyes will determine if that is correct so ... (cont.)

Larger balance has m 40-4 stamped on the side. Smaller balance had 17S23 stamped on the side. Both are 1/2" in width. Smaller balance is 18" in length, larger is 41".

I believe I need a series 351 with a 19-002 top and a 15-002 shoe. They are stamped with 1640 and 2840. Please advise. Thank you for your time.
