15-004 Winged Channel Balance Shoe, 1-3/32" Depth

I have a non tilt balance that has 16 3 BP CALDWELL stamped on it. It measures 17" (metal part only. Could you tell me what part number to order, and are left and right the same as I will be ordering both.

The stamp on this 29" channel balance says 28D. I called a repair shop here in town and they quoted me $55 for the install, etc. but was wondering if it was simple enough to do myself.

Fixing Nuair aluminum windows in my daughter's house. Windows are double glazed. I have one of the balances in front of me. The markings are: 28DS DL 38. I have a couple of window balances to replace. The metal portion is 21 inches long, not including the plastic ends. The metal portion is 0.5" wide by 0.625" deep. The stamp reads "20 5 IW CMC 7". I just replaced my channel balances in a non-tilt window. I ordered the parts based on the stamped number. The window now makes a zippered spring metal noise when I open or close the window. What is going on?

The existing channel says the following- 33 5 cq caldwell However, I was told at the local hardware store that I needed a 34" and also needed to know the weight of the window which is approx 37 lbs.
