Ideally we would love to replace it with a lock that uses a key (or electronic lock) but need to make sure we are buying the correct product. The hols spacing on our door is 4-15/16". Hello, been trying to find the proper fitting handle/mortice lock. Didn't realize there were so many variations. The lock slide is centered, and the mortice has a square opening which is also centered (middle hole pic 3).

The latch lever for my sliding door lock seems to have broke and I am having trouble finding a replacement that works with the existing handle.I found a similar lever (pictured below the broken one, ) and it works perfect to toggle the lock without the handle on. The lower lever is the one I need. I received the upper lever. Note the difference in the location of the handle in relation to the pivot piece. I can't seem to find the right latch lever to replace my broken one. It is 2-3/4" long. Since the pet that fits into the square hole in mortise, I don't know how long it should be. The distance of the base of the square piece the goes into mortise to the outside lever is about 0.42". Pls help me id ... (cont.)
