Hello, I need to replace 2 of my Milgard Window balancers. The part number of each balancer is (26 4 FU CMC 4). The balancer is 1/2" wide x 27" long. I believe the top is 19-005 but not sure about the Channel Balance Shoe Winged as your 15-004 or 15-005 look similar but not the same. ... (cont.)

Hello Swisco, I see through your discussion page that you can custom make dual spring channel balances. I have a Traco window and the balances need replaced, they are stamped (23DS 38 ) and the sash weight is approximately 38 lbs. The metal channel length are 24" long with the 19-041 tops and the 1 ... I hope you can help me. I need to replace the window balance shoes. Problem is that the originals were completely broken and mostly missing. I've ordered two shoes already and neither of them work - I can tell that the original has 'wings' in the back. I ordered 15-004 (1 3/32")

What's the difference between a 380 and a385 channel balance. I can't tell from the pictures.

I am replacing some channel balances. I have attached photos of the ends, and the marking on the balance says "38 4 JL CALDWELL" I am thinking it is part # S380-39, but not 100% sure.

I believe I have Rollyson windows 1984 yr. Channel balance 28 in. Stamped 27-D B.S.I. Window wt. 20 lbs. Bottom shoe looks like your #15-005 and dims. Match.
