Will the 38-036 part work to replace the latch shown? They are PGT casement windows about 20 yrs old. Is it easy to replace? Can you send measurement of part? Thank you.

I called where we purchased the window probably about 30 years ago and they thought it could be model 8300 style 140 but no guarantee that is correct, just a starting place maybe. The window does not have any tags or markings that are visible that I could see.
