The upper sash won't stay up. I know I need a pivot shoe but how do you know if the springs are also bad? The spring number is 405I have two of these old Certainteed windows that I'm trying to use as replacements for my garage and both top sash's won't stay up.Thank you, Susan

I am looking for a few replacement balances. There is no brand identifier on the window or exiting hardware. You've been a big help the past with sliding door rollers. (They work great) I am including photos of the existing part. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Plastic parts at one end is missing/damaged, 23-inch metal, 2230 labeling, snapshot of installed channel balance is from a similarly sized window in my house (plastic part show is 7/8-inch wide). Hello, I need a replacement latch that is like the one pictured but in white. Hi Swisco - attached photos show our bathroom casement window, with crank opener mechanism. Window was installed in 2001. I am not sure what brand was used by the contractor - maybe the label helps?
