the metal part is 28 inches long and the balance has 2840 ae written on it (in photo). It is from Viking sash window - i need 6 of them (3 windows). Also need the black part that seems broken. thanks for all your help, john

The plastic pieces in the corner of the screen frame that hold the metal frames together are deteriorated and they are cracking as I take the screens out to wash the windows or replace a damaged screen. The tab that attaches to the bottom side of the window is broken

I ordered 28 series 900 balances, but they are not a good fit. (order 1009692). I will have to return them. What do you suggest?

The mounting screws are 2-1/2" apart, the inside gap between the latch and the backside of the body is 3/4". the overall body (not the handle) is 3". The widow is equipped with four (4) latches.

Looking to replace this handle. Door is approx 2" and screws approx 5" apart.

Can I use the existing plunger hole in the screen or do I need to drill a new one when using 70-009?

Hi, I have the same balance from Pella window. Only difference is that mine is 1/2". This balance is holding a hook in a bottom end. I wonder if a custom order is available. Please see attached pictures (2 top end, and 2 bottom end). Thank you, David

I have a Newcastle XT CertainTeed sliding glass door/handle mechanism and I want to convert to keyed entry. Is there a solution for that? What parts do I need? Can a semi-handy person like myself install the replacement?
