Measured from the holes. 2 7/8. The length is 3 15/16

Can you ID this window balance. It appears to be a 3/8 in. diameter by 23 5/8in length. The outer tube is plastic, and the fixture on the end appears to be white. There are two pins. I have attached two photos.

I bought some balances last week. S395-28. But they won't let my window sash go back into the window. I sent a photo to demonstrate: the channel in the forground is 1/2 and the new ones are 5/8" deep. The window will not go into the track. let me know what you think. Thanks

My window sash is about 27 X 34. The old channel balance is 2640. I've ordered replacements from you but they don't work so I'm wondering if the channel balances we replaced were perhaps not the original.
