I think replacing the rope with sash balance isn't feasible or is it? These ropes are a major short coming of these sash balances if humidity is high humidity environment. Roughly 50 percent of my 30 year old ropes have snapped.

My andersen window balance is marked L13/1837. On the other side of the balance is: 9 91. I can't find that code on your website.

I have a 22" series 385 balance with a code "2130G". I see the 2130 stamp option, but no 2130G. It is important I get a replacement balance with the "G" after the numbers? What does the "G" represent? thanks, Kelly
