I think i have determined that I need a S380-34 channel balancer. This comes with the 15-005 shoe attached, but i think i would need the 15-004. Our single hung aluminium windows feature S 400 spiral balances which have failed. How do we get them out - can't pull out the bottom because the metal bracket (maybe 17-010 or similar?) is in the way. Can't pull out the top because the spiral band cross clip hangs up on the metal bracket. Should ... (cont.)

Hi, I need to replace this right sash balancer. The dimensions are 6.5" x 3". The window is a regular double hung - not the tilting kind. It has two markings: 11600-2 and DS9 7#27 483. Please let me know if there is anything else I can add. Mark

I have several windows with bad balance units. Your 2830 or 2840 units seem to be the best match I can find on your website. Please advise as to your order, postage, and/or return policy.
