39-147 Andersen Window Crank, 4-1/2"

The housing for my left hand crank (from inside) Andersen window cracked. Looks like same issue as the Austintown Ohio customer. Can you look at these photos and tell me which operator is needed to repair?

How does the window trim covering the operator come off so I can replace the operator? I need to replace a casement window operator with a 39-147.

I need to replace a broken crank. 1361318 is stamped on the 4.5" arm. An R (for right?) is stamped on the arm under the number. From outside the hinges are on the left so in theory I should need a left crank. But when I search for the part number, your site gives me the oposite opener or a right ... (cont.)

Hello, The 4 1/2" crank assembly, your product # 39-146, for a right and left hand assembly: does it come with the cover and the handle or must they be ordered separately. Carefully match up the operator you are replacing to the pictured 39-147 right hand or the 39-146 left hand. If you still have trouble figuring it out please feel free to send us a photo of the operator.

This Anderson crack does come with the operator cover, but the handle is sold separately. Look at our 39-286 handle.

Hello; I purchased the operator plastic cover and a new handle but this did not solve my problem of the window not closing. It opens but won't close. Is your handing on casement operators 39-146 & 39-147 as looking at the window from the outside? In other words looking at the window from outside a LH would hinge on the left side and a RH on the right side. Do the crank operators come with screws? Thanks, Bruce
