Hi, I have thermal gard windows, they aren't staying up. I found that few pivot shoe are broken. I'm thinking to replace the whole hardware to make it right at once. My Window will not hold up and slams closed (Home Built in 1999). The cork-screw like balance is 28.5" long (white sleeve part) plus extended probably double that if you count the cork-screw part coming out of the sleeve.
