How does the 80-006/stop someone from lifting the outside door off the track, as my door seems installed backward also. I understand not being able to slide, but looks like you could still lift it up off the track

Im a locksmith and work on many sliding doors mostly Anderson. What is a Nite Latch for sliding glass door locks?

I think I have this lock at my sliding door (see pictures) and its not working now. Actually the grapping hook is not working. (1) Is there any other lock for the same opening with stronger grapping arrangement? I don't need the lock but want stronger grapping?

Looking at the 82-008 as a replacement for my DNS 1400 series. With the tooth pointing down, when locked, my locks tooth can be lifted off the keeper.
