the attached photos show the handle I am looking to replace, it looks similar to product code 82-005. however, the attachment screws are 8 inch on center. Please let me know if you have this item available, if not please direct me in the right direction.Steve

I need a schematic or picture on how to install the locking mechanism in the frame of the door. Since there are not instructions on line or that you can send I would like to know what fits into what. have double slider surface mount handles. one side hook latch other side female to recieve. do you have a replacement set like this?

The housing measures 7 3/8" x 1" with screws on 5" centers. All I need is the skinny latching part that measures 3" x 3/8" with the hook 1/8" thick. Is this enough information for you to determine which part I need? Please advise. Thanks.

Sorry, it is 5 inches between the screws holes. The patent for the Canadian # 919213 says 1973. The part I ordered is # 82-020. The screws are to short and smaller diameter, as ours are 2 3/4. This is a Panaview sliding door handle lock set. The larger latch bolt broke off so that it will not attach to the outside set thus the latch will not close as it is too loose.
