82-310 Key Lock

Problem is when you rotate key to lock door it turns the lever fine, then when you return key to the start position to remove the key the locking lever turns slightly as well, unlocking the door. Should the tumbler be ratcheting somehow so not to turn the lever back or ?? I am trying to fi ... (cont.)

After having the door lock rekeyed, the cylinder is now loose, jiggly and temperamental. The flat pin which protrudes from the cylinder and inserts into the door handle latch is floppy, meaning it has a lot of play. Consequently, The door latch is jiggly but appears to be in good shape. This comes from a series 8670 SGD-R20-120x82. I want to add a lock to this door and I believe I need a 82-310, correct? The exterior handle is 1" deep. Excellent YouTube howto video!

Does the 1-3/16" spec include the knurled part of the assembly or just the barrel? My door pull is 1- 1/4 O.D., and given the 1/16" thickness of the punch out the knurled part would not enter the door if that length is to the end of the whole assembly (excluding the tail of course). I would like to add a key lock to my Crestline sliding glass door. The door is about 1 1/2" thick. The outside handle looks like it could have a key but we forgot to order a keyed door when we bought it. Do you have something that will work with this type of door?

This is a new door. Mfg code PRW-1. Model SGD-R20 96x96. See attached picture. Do you have a lock that fits in the outside handle? Would we punch out the circular blank to install it or must we purchase a handle and lock together? KW

my existing looks like 82-009A with 4 15/16 between screws. and i was going to buy 82 306 and 82 310 but will it work it work the mechanism in 82-009A? --- is there a better stronger handle that 82 306-- to supplement (if that handle doesn't have a lock) or replace?
