I have old windows that don't close all the way and I paid a window guy to replace the balance in some of them however I want to try to fix the rest of them myself. If my Windows are 28x27 7/8 what size balance should I buy to replace them? Are they the same size as the windows or smaller? ... (cont.)

Per your site instructions I added photos; the markings say "28 3 AN Caldwell", and they are 29" long and approx 10/16ths wise, 9/16ths deep. Can you recommend the proper replacement parts? I was told that the info on the spring/balance was SWISCO S351-29 option 0283. I assume that the S351-29 2830 may be the correct option for replacement. Is this so? Hello, I am looking for replacement balances for older aluminum non tilt windows. Please see attached photos. The identification stamped says B.S.I. AA 2840. The channel depth is 5/8 and the width is 9/16. I will also need some with a number of 2820 and 2830. Thank you!!! Tony

I am trying to find replacements for the entire assembly. I have measured the metal part and it is 29".(that did not include the plastic ends) The only number I see stamped on it is the 2830X. I would greatly appreciate any help in ordering these parts. Thank you!
