I have 3 windows where these appear to be broken and the windows aren't hanging right. Tip to tip is 27 inches, just the metal is 26inches. 2540 is stamped on it but it appeared there were a number of different series of that size (385, 390, etc.) wasn't sure which ones to order. ... (cont.)

Pics show emboss on latch as mfg. (EPI?)Apparently out of business in 2010. My house built in '93. Width is 1/2", length is 26 1/16" metal and 27 1/16" plastic end to plastic end. Aluminum is stamped w/ #2540. Hopefully one of your replacement parts will work for me ?

I'm not sure what exactly is this part. It says 25 4 10 Caldwell. it's 1/2 inch wide and the metal piece is 26 inches

Hi, I believe this is a series 380 channel balance. The channel itself is 25" long. The marking is very difficult to read, but it looks like it says "25 3(degrees symbol) KO CALDWELL".

looking for two block and tackle sash balances for a single hung window. the stamp on the old parts reads 2530

The spring and cable won't extend seems to be stuck and won't move. Looks like one of the plastic guide wheels is broken cracked and jammed.

I have one of the windows with two locks. It is not going down. I need to know which channel balance I need to replace. The length of channel balance is 27 inches. Please advise. See attached picture of window and old channel balance

The cord broke on the balance on the right-side of my window (looking at it from the inside fo the house). As shown in one of the photos, it says 25 4 LJ Caldwell but because the house was built in 1978, I don't know if it is still available.

This clip is used on certainteed windows installed in 1998. We could use at least a dozen of these because they are all brittle and breaking.

The balancer is 1/2 inch wide and the metal is 26" long.

I need 2 replacements.

Hello! After a lot of research I purchased two new window sashes, 26" Series 385 Channel Balances, but I suspect I was wrong. The 26" part is correct but I think the spring is too strong.
