We have Patriot windows that were installed in 1996. The two bathroom windows will not stay open. The pivot shoes are broken on both windows. The Casing where the coil is stored has a red tip. Attached are 3 photos of a broken top window lock shoe, a blue insert and measurement of the channel holding the lock shoe. Please recommend a replacement lock shoe (2 are needed, left and right) for this application. Thank you for your assistance.

Looking for this replacement part, it's for a smaller bathroom window, it's the mechanism that keeps the sash in place/open. Approximately 28" long, total. Looking for the entire mechanism, wound part, stopper and metal sleeve. Thanks

I have two 47" x 47" windows with a 23" spiral balances & two 35" x 59" windows with 28" spiral balances (all the lower windows tilt). Should I get the pivot shoes as well? "Pic 1" shows the broken balance (pictures out of order). There appears to be a red tip, but that was inside the balance. If you see "Pic 2", that is the balance on the opposite side of the window - it does not have a colored tip. So I assume you should ignire the broken red piece in "Pic 1". The sa ... (cont.)

The tilt window balance measures 28 inches, 5/8 diameter and looks to be orange. In needed of the correct part number to order.

I need to replace some spiral balances in Better-Bilt aluminum windows (tilt), circa 1995. Looking for guidance on which balance will work. This is a spiral balance, 3/8' dia, 28"length, looks like yellow tip. The top of the balance had a hole where the screw held it in place. It is the broken part. You can see from the pics that the tube is not a solid pipe but is a coil type tube. What do I need to order?

28" spiral balance, Red tip, 9/16" wide tube. No markings on the tube. Windows are 22 years old, were from a company in New Jersey, and sold to Hovnanian builders and installed in new home construction. Definitely contractor grade windows at best.

Hello, our spiral tilt balance tube measures 28"x9/16", and has a dark blue tip (see images I uploaded). Your blue tips are much lighter in color. Do I still order blue tip?
