Hi have some Kinco windows that I need parts for. I'd like to replace the balance tubes and the pivot shoes. Window sash weighs 20 pounds. The length of the tube portion of the balance is 28.5 inches. The diameter of the balance tube is 3/8". There is no color on the end of the tube. ... (cont.)

Spiral tilt window balancers are shot. At the top of the tube is an inside insert that was held in place by the open metal rivet where the end of the spiral slips into. This was made of plastic. I have a tilting window, I need to replace both balances and the mechanisms they lock into. The measure 29" long, and are 3/8" in diameter. One has no colored bushing the other has a white bushing. Which do you suggest I purchase. Best regards, Ryan

I am trying to locate a spiral window balance. The balance I have in my hand looks exactly like your S900 series (S900-29). Mine is 3/8" diameter and measures 29" in length. The only problem is mine has a black tip on it. Please see pic. Can you help me? Thanks Brian

I am trying to find replacement pivot shoe and pivot balance bar as well. The measurements of the pivot shoe is 2 inchs in length X 1 inch wide X 1/2 inch width. The balances I think I need to replace are 29" in length (tube only) and 3/8" in diameter. It appears they have black tips. The windows weigh about 26 pounds. Would like your advice on what replacements I need.

my spiral balance for my vinyl window appears orange. its a 3/8" tube diameter and a 29" length. The windows shouldn't be very heavy since they only measure about 31"x34" and are 5/8" thick insulated glass. Should I just order the red ones?
