I am looking for a pair of replacement balances, my channel measures 27" from tip to tip, the shoe is 1 1/4"w, the balance is stamped with 26-3 on it, please see attached pictures. Thanks, Mike

Hello, I'm trying to ID a balance spring that is 27" in length with a stamp of 26-5 and a sash weight of 20#. Channel dimensions are 1/2" wide x 1/2" deep. Spring shoe is 1 3/16" wide and 1 7/8" long. Also can you also provide guidance for sash removal and installation? I am unsure of window make ... (cont.)

I would like to replace my window balance but can't figure out which replacement part to buy. The balance doesn't seem to fit with any of the replacement parts I've seen on this site.
