In the attached image is what my coil balance looks like. That is the right side. Left side cover was completely deteriorated and when I went to unlock the shoe the springs sprung. Also there isn't a cutout in the frame to remove the coil balance. Any suggestions? Window is double pane and 33 inches ... (cont.)

How do I identify my specific Acan window? The windows balance/ballast mechanism is broken and there is nothing to hold it up. Other windows in my home are very difficult to open.
