I tried the coil spring support on my simonton window. The springs fit but the top of the coil spring support of the 15-150T is squared and not rounded like the original part from my window. That rounded top kept it from snapping off the tabs on the latches that release the window to lean back. Do y ... (cont.)

We have traco windows in our dorm building on campus. They have coiled springs in the window for a balance. The plastic holder that holds the springs are broken and need to be replaced. Attached are photos of a balance used to replace the old coil type lift shown next to it. The balance is 33" x 9/16" x 9/16". The old shoe from the coil type lift is 1 1/4" x 17/32". These pictures are from a Simonton Window. Each spring has a "4" on it so I assume that is 12lbs per side. The sash weighs 21.3 lbs on scale. This is the right side standing inside. Hello - need to know what parts to order to replace the attached balances. The window is a Simonton window, Luminess 700 series. Need to order parts ASAP for an end of March settlement on the house.
