Coil balance assembly for a MI Windows window
Please excuse my ignorance of the technical terms! The bottom plastic piece of the coil balance assembly is cracked (see bottom of picture). The enclosed picture shows what may be a Capitol Window. The builder of the house referred to Capitol and I researched and found MI Windows and Doors make a coil balance that appears to be identical to the one in my picture. Balance Spring Replacement
I have single hung windows that I believe were manufactured by MI Windows and Door in the mid 90's. They have a mfg code of MTL-6. Broken coil balance
I had a window made by MI Windows and Doors, Inc. and the coil balance was broken and could not hold the opened windows. The window is MI 8500 series (WxH 85in x 75in).
