Hi, After disassembling the window, the number on the balance is E5 9#31 8/84. Unfortunately I didn't see that number as an option in ordering a replacement part. Has this balance been replaced with a similar balance with a different number? Thanks, Tom

Balancer is broken on the LHS of my Anderson DH window. The string does not retract for the lower window, probably because the tension spring is broken? Can I purchase a replacement balancer for the LHS? both sides are numbered 11600-17 LHS has E47 9#27 10-86 RHS has E52 9#27 12-86 ... (cont.)

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry, but what part exactly are you looking for? Based on that serial number, it looks like it could be an Andersen sash balance, but I can't be sure. If so, please see our 24-939, which can be used to replace balance boxes with the stamp 9#27.

I need to replace the sash balancers in an Anderson Window. The model number on the existing balancer does not match the ones I see online. The number is E17 9#27 1-85. Is this the 927 model that you offer? Thanks for your help

I have removed a balance from a window. Our windows are circa 1966 and we have quite a few broken cords at this point. I am unable to find the correct replacement part. Can you guide me? I have attached a photo of the unit.

I have removed the 2 Sash Support Andersen Window Balances and want to order replacement units. the rectangular portion is 6 5/16 long, 2 15/16 wide, and 3/4 think.
