82-055 Acorn Sliding Door Handle Set, 3-1/2"

This old hardware on old door (maybe from 1980s) broke off, and when I went to Home Depot and Lowes, the handles there looked comparable, but the bolt that secures door through handle wasn't long enough (as long as the one from original broken handle) to fit. It looked like maybe your Acorn door (?) ... (cont.)

I ordered the 82-055 and unscrewed the tiny screw that goes on the part that you turn to lock the door; I haven't put that part on the door yet and the slinder metal bar fell off the back and I don't know where it belongs. Hello! The inside handle of our sliding door cracked apart. Until now. The door handle and lock mechanism worked fine, until today. We have a 1980's Acorn Dorwal Sliding Glass Door. The label in the door jam is completely worn out and unreadable, so I do not know the model number. It needs new rollers and the interior handle has been broken with no locking mechanism for over 13 years! We use the lock bar to stay safe. I do n ... (cont.)

Looking to replace my existing handle/lock assembly with a working one. I'd also like to add a mortise (i believe that is what the inner locking mechanism is called), as there is nothing as seen in the pictures.
