Hi Tom, How do I get the spring attached to the small metal bar (picture 4534)? It came off (brand new balance) and I'm not strong enough to pull it up with needle-nose pliers. Need help identifying this 5/8" x 1-3/4" top sash guide. We have identified the channel balance replacement as the 385 series but I'm having difficulty identifying this part as it appears that part of it is broken off top face (small square).

Looking to find a replacement for this part.

Hi, I have several single-hung windows in my (new to me) house that need to have the channel balancers replaced. I ordered Series 385 balances for a window that also needs sash guide replacements.The width is 5/8" for the most part with the top width being about 7/16". The length is about 1 3/4". There are two holes. The top hole is between 9/16" and 5/8" from the top and the second hole is about 1 1/8" from ... (cont.)

My channel balances are s385 but I am unable to identify the top sash guide. they seem to be worn on the retaining lip and some of my channel balances have slipped by the top sash guide and gotten stuck in the raised position when the window was lowered. please help. thanks

What is the plastic piece that is screwed into the window that the channel balance catches on?

OK. Replaced one set of window channel balances with 385. Was easy to identify the shoes and tops based on your images, dimensions etc. You guys do an amazing job, thank you. To whom it may concern. I need these spring balances identified so I can order them. I need two of them. Photos(5) included of ends as requested. Metal rail is 1/2" x 22" long. Spring force is 21-4 I also need the part that attaches to the window that mates with the balance(see last photo ... (cont.)

I have two styles of window, each with a different balance length but same shoes and tops on each. Both balance bodies are 9/16 inches wide and 5/8 inches deep. The first style of balances is 20 5/8 inches long; the second is 26 5/8 inches long. The springs keep binding or popping out of the ... (cont.)

I recently ordered S380-30 : 30" Series 380 Channel Balance. While replacing the balance however I noticed that the top sash is also broken. I looked through the website but couldn't find any top sash that has two holes. Attached is the photo

Metal part of balance is 21 inches long, 1/2 inch wide. On the balance is stamped 20 FE 33. I need 7 of the channel balances, 6 of the plastic retaining clips, and 5 of the metal clips. (img_0011) Can you tell me the part numbers? Thanks so much, Kevin
