I came across a couple of single hung, Suburban Door windows with a broken sash guide. I believe I've located a replacement part in 18-171. Could you explain what those things do, how when one of them is broken the window hangs crooked and does not operate right. Are these weak links, do they break ... (cont.)

Item shown comes from a window with alternate channel balance 3240, I believe. Dimensions are all inches.

Need 2ea Balances. 1/2" x 21" without ends 22-1/4" including plastic ends. However, Are these attached to the sash with another plastic piece? Your pictures don't show it, but there are 2 plastic pieces attached to the inside of the frame. These are for a non tilting window.

Hello, I have a non-tilt window (20 lb) that comes with a pair of 30" channel balance, 1/2", stamped 30 4 LP CALDWELL. The window is very hard to pull down for closing because of excessive tension of the channels. Both sash guides are crack and broken so I am looking for replacement parts for the ... (cont.)

Single hung window does not hold position when opened. The sliding portion of the window appears to rotate then slip from balance. Wondering if replacing the top sash guide would remedy the problem.

I am trying to replace a plastic guide for my window. I have no identifying part numbers for the sash mounted guide. The plastic part measures 1 3/4" by 5/8". Hello, I'm new to this. I need to replace the channel Balances on one of my windows. The width of the channel is 9/16" and the length is 26.75" I can't find the exact bottom plastic piece. I believe the part I need is called a Top Sash Guide. This part screws into the top of the window housing and holds in the channel balance. The Channel balance is 1/2 inch wide and is 28 inches long. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brian

What's the easiest way to distinguish between the 15-004 and the 15-005 shoe? They look identical in the pictures at your website.
