The attach pictures are what I have currently. No brand indicated. Just "20 4 OJ" stamped on the metal. My window balances are 21? long metal channels with 1/2" widths. Is your 21" SERIES 380 CHANNEL BALANCE the correct replacement part for my existing balance? Need to confirm before I order a bu ... (cont.)

Can you please let me know which window channel balance can replace the following Milgard Manufacturing balance? 20 5 DX CMC 7 The metal channel is 21 inches long on the outside and 20 inches inside in between the attached fittings. Thanks, Mark

We need a Lower 21 inch balance, S385 which weighs 12#, not sure if option 2020 or 2030 is best, which do you recommend?

Could you please recommend a replacement for a balance stamped "20 4 EQ CALDWELL"? I do believe it's a 21" Series 385, but I'm not sure what option (2019 to 2050) to choose. I'd like to replace both balances. Thank you

I need 2 of the 21 inch and 4 of the 11.5 inch. # on the 21 inch are 20 2 and 11.5 are 11 2

The balances have the following numbers stamped on their sides 2020Z (21 inch) or 2220Z (23 inch).They are both 1/2 inches wide and appear to have the 19-005 fitting on the top and the 15-004 fitting on the bottom. I have figured out I need a 21" series 385 balance but the spring weight only goes up to 27 lbs. The stamp on the old balance indicates I need a spring for 30 lbs. What option should I do?

I have several windows with this size balances that need replacing. The windows are made made by Viking windows who no longer are around . Place I just to buy them at is no longer in business. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

mine are single hung windows, over twenty hears old. One is stamped 20 3 KP Caldwell, and the other 26 4 LP Caldwell. I'm looking at 380 and 385 as likely clones but can't decide which. What is difference?

Based on your channel balance stamp, you'll want to select spring strength option 2040. Two of those should be able to carry a 15 to 23 lb sash.

my channel balance is 22 inches long and 9/16 wide. It is from an All Weather window that is about 40 years old. Do you make a 22 inch long balance or will the 21 inch work? I am an un-handy homeowner- Help! Thanks Bob

Hi, I need to get a window balancer and am trying to identify which one it is. There is a 20 40 FA Caldwell printed on the side. I can narrow down based off look and how the top/bottom are built, but how do I determine which series this is? Like S350, S351, etc. Thanks!

I need to replace the Caldwell window balances on 1 window. The channel measures 21" long (not including the plastic tips on both ends) with 1/2" width. What are the replacement balances I need? The stamp shows 20 4 ES CALDWELL. Please see attached photos. Thanks for your help.
