S385-21 21" Series 385 Channel Balance

Hi, the strings in my window channel balances broke and I could use your help to identify the correct replacement part. The metal bar length measures exactly 21 inches and the only identifying IDs I could locate were "20 4 AV CMC 7" and "20 4 AV CMC 2". Thank you, Ernest

I need to replace several balances in windows at a 6 plex just took over managing. This one measures 21 inches and is 1/2 inch deep. I believe came out of a Millgard window. Thank you for help. Very much appreciate it.

Single hung non-tilt window wont close all the way-it just needs another 1/4 inch to be able to lock.I have taken the sash out and cleaned, and siliconed the balances and still nothing. I am looking to replace channel balances for two windows: - 21-inch: 1/2-inch width, markings 20 4 KU CMC 7 - 15-inch: 1/2-inch width, markings 14 5 CV CMC 7 I've included photos of the parts I'd like to replace.

Tim C, Thank you for answering. This is a 21 inch Caldwell, not counting the plastic. picture of the markings enclosed. The house was built in 1995. The balancer is sprung. I don't know if it can be re-set so am looking for a new one. thank you for your help. Sharon

Need the side spring activated part. The cord broke causing the mechanics to fail. The numbers on the out side say 20-4 GE5 CMC 75. The window itself has these numbers: 144-456269, PO: 7021, 41.5 X 47.5. Please help!

Hi, I was looking for a replacement balancer channel for milgard single hung window non tiltable. The channel without the nylon ends measures 21". The windows weighs about 12.1lb. I see there a option for 8-12 lb, 12-15 lb.I was kinda unsure which one to choose. Does that make a great difference? ... (cont.)
