What part do I need to replace these balancers? Also, I've noticed a large gap 3-5mm between the glass and the sash's metal housing. The screwdriver goes touches the back of the metal housing for the sash. Is it ok to fill this with silicon? Is there some recommendation for what to fill it with? Wi ... (cont.)

I have 4 double hung Peachtree windows from 1990 that need new balance spring assemblies. The sashes, both top and bottom, are labeled G2890 Type AE. It's a 16lb sash with an integrated balance mechanism. Stamp option: 25.25-3 Is the the Series 745 channel balance the right replacement part?

pretty sure it's the d3660 just not sure of 3,4 or 5. We have quite a few of this type we need to replace.

In the one I took apart, it has the number 2518 stamped on it, but that does't match any of your balances. It is just over 26" long and just over 1/2" wide. Appreciate any help you could offer.
