Hi Team! I just bought a condo with PGT windows that are roughly 20 years old. The spiral balances have corroded at the bottom on all the windows so I'm unable to identify what the bottom piece was originally. I did pull one out. A few of the windows in my house have issues with opening/closing. For some, they are so difficult it's like a back-breaking workout, for at least one other the balances have just given up and dropped out. This may be two different problems, or the same issue, i.e. replace balances in all of them. ... (cont.)

Older windows in condo unit. Windows are in good shape but no up/down easy action. Don't want to take apart if not available. I'm not even sure how the windows come out however I know they must. The old balance had no clip. It's 23" long and 5/8" wide. On this non tilt window. The last photo looks up the sliding window. I need 2 balances and clips

I spoke with a Rep a few minutes ago and before I order about 50 30" Red Spiral Tension Rods. It appears some of my Tension blocks - which are screwed in from the factory from the 'outside' - have turned a quarter turn (from force). I have 9 better built windows. That I bought new spiral bouncers for. I cant install them because you guys do not have a video from my type of model window. I was curious to know if I could get some help from you so I can install them.

I purchased S900 balancers for this window. I now believe the shoe that the end of the spring attaches to is broken and can not determine how to remove the window to replace the shoe, if it is even possible. I have identified the windows as being manufactured by Harcar Aluminum Products at 1201 Cornwall Rd, Sanford, Florida...no longer in business. I have attached photos of the window. This is a General Aluminum non-tilt window with spiral balances. I've read through the information on your site, but there seems to be a clip blocking access to the spiral. How do I adjust or replace this balance?

Body is 12 in Long 3/8 in tubular and screws in at the top. I cannot seem to find the bottom connector that locks it to the window. Please help me if you can thank you Bill

I found the bracket I need to replace this bent bracket. Is there a way to unbend this bracket with out removing? The next thing is I found the bracket with this part number 17-062. But how do I remove the mounting screw seen in the picture since it's in a confined location?

I have single-hung/? Side mounted sash brackets that screw in from the side inwards. It seems I'd need to take the sash out of the frame to replace it. How should I do that?

I think this is called the bottom shoe? It's attached to the bottom of the spiral balance and slides up into the channel at the bottom of my window. If you have it, I'been looking right past it. I am led to believe these are capital aluminum windows but I can't be certain.Please advise,Jim ... (cont.)
