I'm trying to change the worn out window operator on our 2000 Milgard windows. Your model 39-253 RB has same dimensions. However on mine, I can not take the cover out. The cover you sell is about 1/2" wider. Is there another model I should look for or should I order the operator plus a new cover/han ... (cont.)

it is a side opening window (over 20 years old from Milgard) with henges on the left side looking out from the inside. In closing the window it makes popping noises with the window not moving. the long arm in the opener is about 10.5 inches long.

Windows were made by Thermo-Gard but no parts info was supplied.I've looked through your website and it appears to me the best match I found was your 39-438B and 39-439B operators.I have multiple windows some right other left opening.
