15-015 Pivot Shoe, 17/32" Thick

I have a dilemma . I see the part number 15-046 that looks exactly like mine. But the measurement of the 15-046 is 1/2 inch thick. When I measure the shoe I have it neasures 17/32 which leads me to part number 15-015. The 15-015 does not look like the one I have . Which shoe do I order? Thanks. This ... (cont.)

The original pivot lock shoe has the dimensions of 2." high X 1.250" wide X .535" (17/32)thick (see pix), which appears to be closest to pn:15-015. BUT the piece fits tight in the track. Do you recommend going to the 1/2" thick one, perhaps pn:15-046? I will need 20 each.

The pivot bar on my window was badly rusted and when I tried to remove the sash the bar broke leaving a rusty end stuck in the pivot shoe. What I want to know is can the colored rotating part of the shoe be removed from the white sliding part. This might make it easier do pry or drill out the rust ... (cont.)

Hi, I just recieved new spiral balancers (part S600-20) and pivot shoes (part 15-015). I have attached a picture of my pivot shoes that I need to replace. Most of them are broken and will most likely replace them all to be on the safe side. I assume the cam in this unit can be turned with a screw driver 90 degrees to allow the pivot to be locked in place and allow the sash to be installed parallel to the floor, and then pushed up into the window frame?

Trying to determine if I need the 15-015 shoe or the 15-046. Taking measurement is hard to tell. However, the existing shoes have the blue center piece. Does that mean I should go with the 15-015? Attached are some photos of window tilt latches that I need to replace. I hope you can identify these as there is no branding on the windows. Let me know if you have them and the cost. Also if I need any specific tool to replace them. Thanks! Alan

I'm not sure on the 15-015 (17/32") vs 15-046 (1/2"). The Pivot Shoe looks almost exactly like the 15-046 but my Pivot Shoe measures 17/32" Thk. Sorry for the fuzzy pictures. I have a vinyl double hung tilt window - both top and bottom tilt. I believe the pivot shoe product code is 15-015. The window balance tube diameter is (9/16") or considered 5/8" and is 22" long with a white tip. What series tube do I need? Thank you, Bill
