Hi, looking for info and part to replace a latch lock. The handle to open is fine,but when I lifted the latch to unlock window,the latch came right out of the part. I was hoping you could help me locate this truth part. I have looked everywhere and believe that it is a tie bar, however I cannot find that size anywhere with the cone.

Viking window installed in 1993. The latch broke inside and we can't get the cover off to access inner workings. The window is a CertainTeed twin casement and the lock handle has Truth 31401 stamped on the arm. The pictures are from the good side (left), the right side is broken where the handle and arm are connected inside.

What is the difference other than the cost and whether left or right part between Product Code 38-058L and Product Code 38-091???? They look identical to me, but there's a big difference in price.
