The mechanism starts ratcheting when the window reaches almost full closed and starts to provide some resistance, so can't close the window all the way with the hand crank. Handle is marked Craftline. ID number on bottom 40055, logo of T in a trapezoid. Home built in 1979.

Truth is marked on the bars, but I could not identify the model number. Hopefully the photos including measurement will help you with identification.

The teeth on the arm and the gears on the crank mechanism slip so that I cannot close the window without manually pulling it in to lock mechanism. Arm length is 14 inches long. Housing length where screws are inserted is 4 3/4 inches. Width of unit is 3 3/4 inches.
