My question is how do I remove the remnants of the old handle? No visible screws, just a round flat disc. Does it turn or pop off?? Please let me know how to remove the old handle. Thanks much =}

I need to know what color spiral balance I need. The one I took out didn't have a color. The balance is 3/8", 26 inches long, and the window weighs 16 pounds. I have attached a picture of the old balance.
