Hello, I have some mystery-aged Viking non-tilt windows in a manufactured home. The nylon guide attached to the spring on a few of them has broken. I am looking for replacement balances for a Jordan Aluminum Window. Manufactured date around 1994. Channel type, 1/2". Metal length is 25". It has markings on the back reading: 24 3 Caldwell HM. 20.5 x 39-inch (inside measurements) double hung window won't stay up. Metal cylinder inside appears to be 20 inches from plastic at top to red thing at the bottom of the cylinder. See sideways photos

Here are the pictures regarding replacement parts for window. The Channel Balance has 21 stamped on it and it measures 1/2" W x 23" L including the nylon ends. Hello I purchased the 39-037 to replace old vinyl awning windows operators that are rusted...Although this part looks exactly like the old one it seems impossible to be able to remove the old one after removing the 4 screws. It seems as if there between the scutcheon and the screws (sash?) perhaps ... (cont.)
