Hello. My channel balance has broken. It has the stamp 27 14L and then in little print 02 asi. It is 28" long. When it was working, it was hard to lift the window. Does the 14L mean 14 lbs? If it was hard to open, should I get a stronger channel balance.

Hello I need help finding a replacement for my window channel balance,this is from a non tilt window. The width is half inch with a length of 28 inches. I have supplied some pictures of my channel balance.

The crank mechanism has become inoperable and needs replaced. Other than the tempering info on the glass, there is nothing stamped anywhere indicating a manufacturer. The windows are original to the house which was built in 2005. Please help in identifying.
