They press in flush with the window, and are very difficult to pull out, there's no tab or way to get under the clip to pull it out. and they have a small bent metal that acts as a spring/pressure to keep the clip in place.

This is a 20 year old double hung window the tilt latch has broken on some of the windows, they are mortised into the a slot on the windows the only number on them is a 96 on the bottom

My daughter has a tilt window that the ends of the pivot bars have rusted away - to get an idea of what type of pivot bar it is, I tried to remove an adjacent window- I know how one is supposed to be able to remove the window - have looked at videos, etc - we move the window up about a foot, unlatch ... I have a sliding glass andersen door that opens to an atrium. It has become very squeaky when opening and/or closing. Does this mean I need to replace the rollers or can I just oil it? Do I have to take the door off to oil the roller if that is a solution?

Does your company have a replacement for tilt latch Part # 5.139.291? I don't have a window name or a latch name, but the dimensions seem to match your No. 26-243 if this can help you. Can one latch be ordered?

I have 11 Caradco windows that I am going to use in a new edition. I have only one latch for them it has PN 30838A on the latch

Unique I recently installed a pair of S380 channel balances from Swisco.com. The installation went well, and the balances are ALMOST working properly. Looking for the Channel Balance and top cap replacement. I have soft the model S390-29 channel balance and 18044 5/8" - "Top Sash Guide, Kinco" to cap. Not sure they will fit. Ths Dan

I have a house built in 1985. All original Windows. None of the windows will stay up. Most of the spirals are out of the sash and will not stay in. I'm not sure I'm using the correct terms, but this is the sash in the frame of the window on the left side (if you're facing the window). The plastic piece at the bottom is split. Tim, thanks for the reply already. Here are pics of my channel. Shoes are riveted in place; but, bottom shoe measures 1 3/32". Channel is 30"; and, sash weighs 29.8# Ron

I believe I have a 14 year old Kinco sliding door. I need to replace the handle and lock with a lock setup that can be locked or unlocked with a key.
