I was looking to place an order for (60) channel sash balances. They have a 4440 marking and the metal channel is 45 inches long. I'm hoping you can help. They are for a school building (built 1929) but retrofitted aluminum windows installed late 70's early 80's -Pat

I have tried to remove the felt strips that are in the groves but they don't seem to be removable or could the be glued? This window has major ice buildup on top and sides. No doubt that there is warpage but was wondering if I replaced the weatherstripping with a slightly larger size it would help, ... (cont.)
