The shaft pulls right out and prevents window from closing.

Just purchased a 1963 house in Eugene, OR and it has most of the old wooden casement windows. The wood is in good shape and the mechanisms are intact but many of the cranks are stripped. Im looking for a standard Thomson awning window operator replacement. There is 3 screws to hold the operator done, 5-3/4" between the 2 outside holes. There are 2 arms about 18". The arms connect to a sliding track on the window
