39-143 12" Awning Operator, Single Pull

The entire workings inside the crank are broken. I can't buy just a new crank. The mechanism inside just pulls in and out, but won't come out, and spins round and round. I have these crank handle windows where the crank mechanism is broken as the collar for the crank (pic 8) does not hold in position as the thread looks damaged. Awning Operator. Possible 12" too rusty to crank all the way open. Side links measure roughly 5". Too rusty to see any brand or markings. I checked your sight for possible match. I see 39-143 but the handle is different. Not sure if that matters. Need your assistance.

Hi. Have an 80 year old garage with a 2nd floor. I have two awning type windows (they hinge at the top) but do not have the hardware to open and close. I usually prop them open with a block of wood. Can I add this hardware to these windows to make them open?

I SENT AN EMAIL WITH THE SAME INFO TO YOUR CUSTOMER CARE DEPT. THEN i SAW THIS SO YOU MAY GET DUPLICATE QUESTIONS. THE THREADS THAT HOLD THE BUSHING WHERE THE HANDLE GOES IN ARE STIPPED. STRIPPED ON THE CASING NOT THE BUSHING, MAYBE THE BUSHING IS WORN TOO.

Handle has a part #45012. The locking screw threads are stripped. Also, how do you get the mechanism out of the window frame, as I don't see any screws from either side.

Hello, I've got some cranks 39-140 mod. that need a new coat of paint on the retractable arms,like your item photos ( silver - grayish ). Is there a way to get a color name or a can of spray paint to bring these back to factory shape? Thanx : ]

How do you measure for the proper size to order. Some of the replacement are stamped Truth.

Hi there: Weathershield awning operator with stripped gear - Truth brand. It looks like your 39-143 would work as a replacement but W/S has a unique color which looks to be "Champagne" color. The crank comes out. It's opens the window fine but when I go to close it(turn out the other way) it comes out.
