My bathroom window is no longer staying opened. I could get it to stay opened if I tilted it out then shut it back in place and tried sliding the lower sash up again. Looking for a replacement window balance, 31". There is a spring and rope inside, but no nylon fittings on either end.

The balance itself is 26 1/2 inches long. The fiberglass rod is 25 1/4 inches. The spring itself is 13 5/8 inches from hook to hook. The shoe looks to be 1 1/4 wide. Bedroom sash is 34 3/4 x 30 3/4 and weighs 22.2 lbs. Kitchen sash is 27 x 29 3/4. and weighs 17.2 lbs. I would need 12 balances in al ... (cont.)

I cannot find any names or identifying numbers. These were installed about twenty years ago, and I have since unwisely disposed of the identifying manufacturer sticker. Hello, I am trying to identify all the parts to replace. Help me please with pivot lock shoe.

I am replacing my spiral balances because they have failed on 2 of my windows. This issue is they continually come free from the pivot shoe, which is a locking pivot. I recently ordered the 770 series balance(27c) that match my old ones exactly. I also need to replace the shoes. The old shoes measure 9/16" thick, 2" high and 1" wide. Tilt vinyl windows, broken pivot bar . Windows are at least 10 years old but don't know the manufacturer. The pivot bars I looked at don't seem to have a pointed top end...do you have any like this or that will work that are the same size? Thanks.

This one was been replaced by someone and it still in good shape. But the other side was broke. The one that I can found in the same size is 15-118. Is this ok to use? Thanks!.

This is for a tilt window. The spring/string mechanism is no longer functional. The shoe is broken. This is a spring with string type mechanism. The string attaches to the shoe via a little clip on the end of the string. Aluminum channel is 28" long and 9/16" wide. Window pane is 29 1/8" tall. ... (cont.)

please help. plain square channel balance. 24" long, code on back "924". top has hook, bottom has eyelet that clips into shoe. shoe is 9/16 thick. looks to be similar to S770 with out the clip at the top. please advise
