I'm looking to repair a broken block and tackle. The channel is 9/16 wide and 1/2" deep. The stamp on the channel says 30C BSI. At my local window retailer, they said it's called a balance shoe. My daughter think it is called a dog or a shoe.It broke inside the left window casing when I close the bottom window after cleaning it. Ilooked like it was jammed. Hi, I just received my balance bar S770-27 and I ordered the 15-129 pivot shoe which is too wide for my windows. I'm wondering what one I should be ordering instead. My old pivot shoe is measuring 1"wide 1/2" thick and 2" tall. Please help!

My channel balances are marked with 34D and look to match your product #5770-34. They screw in with one screw at the top. The shoes are also broken. My bathroom window is no longer staying opened. I could get it to stay opened if I tilted it out then shut it back in place and tried sliding the lower sash up again. But now it doesn't stay open after doing this. The balance is staped 12C BSI. How do I find out what are the top clip and shoe suffix ... (cont.)

Looking for a replacement window balance, 31". There is a spring and rope inside, but no nylon fittings on either end.

The balance itself is 26 1/2 inches long. The fiberglass rod is 25 1/4 inches. The spring itself is 13 5/8 inches from hook to hook. The shoe looks to be 1 1/4 wide. Bedroom sash is 34 3/4 x 30 3/4 and weighs 22.2 lbs. Kitchen sash is 27 x 29 3/4. and weighs 17.2 lbs. I would need 12 balances in al ... (cont.)
